SUNDAY POEM

Bring my pipe and bring my slippers.

Bring my kiwi and my kippers.

 

Bake a batch of finnan haddie

For your mommy and your daddy.

Start a fire, watch the telly.

Balance baby on your belly.

Read the paper, take a walk. 

Meet a neighbor, have a talk.

Write a poem, play the cello.

Eat a bowl of lemon jello.

Time to nap and time to play –

Let’s have Sunday every day.
